Craig Miller is President of Viasat Government, leading the defense business's strategic vision and positioning it to deliver multi-domain, sensor-to-shooter network orchestration and data integration capabilities for cloud and AI-enabled defense operations[[3]](https://www.viasat.com/about/company/leadership/craig-miller/). With 30 years of experience at Viasat since joining in 1995, Miller has held numerous strategic, operational, and technical leadership roles[[3]](https://www.viasat.com/about/company/leadership/craig-miller/). He previously served as President of Strategic Initiatives, focusing on strategic programs and operational transformation including the Viasat-Inmarsat integration[[3]](https://www.viasat.com/about/company/leadership/craig-miller/), and as President of Global Space Networks, overseeing engineering development for satellites, terminals, and networks across commercial and government sectors[[1]](https://www.govconwire.com/articles/craig-miller-president-viasat-government-viasat). Before joining Viasat, Miller worked at Hughes Missile Systems Group in Tucson, Arizona, where he was responsible for implementing electronic countermeasures for the AMRAAM missile system[[3]](https://www.viasat.com/about/company/leadership/craig-miller/). He holds a Bachelor of Science in Electrical Engineering with an emphasis on Communications and Signal Processing from the University of Arizona[[3]](https://www.viasat.com/about/company/leadership/craig-miller/).
